The IPA+ project has developed and trialled two online trainings to cover the educative requirements of professionals with different levels of experience and know-how.  

The results is a three-month “Comprehensive” course (Level I) with 7 modules an a three-month “Expert” course (Level II) with four modules, because of the Module 1 is transversal to Level I and II.

The list of those modules and their main subjects are presented separately for each course.

Module 5. Specific knowledge of the concrete characteristics of the clients that students will work with

Module 6. Characteristics and needs in different contexts and stages of life
  • Presentation of autistic symptoms at different stages of life.
  • Support needs at different stages of life.

Module 7. Competences and professional profile

  • Practice based on rights, values and ethics.

Module 2. Aetiology of autism and comorbid conditions
  • Epidemiology of autism spectrum disorder.

Module 3. Specific support and intervention programs
  • Intervention programs in behavior problems.
  • Intervention in the field of sexual and emotional education.

Module 4. Strategies to design and evaluate the Personal Development Plans
